Python Developer Lead
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on training in Python, Django, cloud orchestration using OpenNebula, and modern DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and DRBD, Linstor. You will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining scalable backend applications and infrastructure components. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to support the automation, deployment, and managing vm images, container images across multiple regions and environments of E2E Cloud.
Job Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Python and Django
- Write code adhering to SOLID principles
- Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure automation(images) using OpenNebula
- Help build and launch VM and container images across multiple regions
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments on Kubernetes clusters
- Support DR setups using DRBD replication and contribute to high availability configurations
- Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps team for end-to-end system integration
- Test and debug programs, write unit/integration tests
- Maintain documentation for cloud image creation, deployment processes, and system architecture
- Learn and apply security best practices in software and infrastructure development
- Participate in code reviews and internal knowledge sharing sessions
Skill Sets and qualifications required:
- Academic project or training experience in Python and Django
- Familiarity with virtualization and private cloud platforms like OpenNebula
- Understanding of how VM images are created, configured, and deployed across regions
- Knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes basics
- Understanding of DRBD or similar data replication technologies
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Bonus: Exposure to Golang or interest in learning Go
