This role demands strong troubleshooting skills, a quick learning curve, excellent communication abilities, and confidence to resolve technical issues effectively—often in a single call. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will act as the first line of support for customers deploying and running workloads on our cloud. You’ll handle everything from basic VM provisioning and networking issues to container orchestration and storage-level troubleshooting.
● Provide L1–L2 support for cloud infrastructure issues across compute, storage, and networking.
● Handle technical and product-related queries raised via support channels (chat, email, phone).
● Quickly troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to virtual machines,containers, load balancers,
object/block storage, DNS, VPN, etc.
● Work closely with internal teams to escalate and follow up on unresolved issues.
● Document solutions, update knowledge base, and identify recurring issues for long-term fixes.
● Ensure timely communication and resolution, maintaining high CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores.
● Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem discussions.
● Continuously upskill on new technologies, platforms, and tools that impact cloud operations.
● Drive a culture of first-time resolution through proactive learning and confidence in handling live
customer environments.

demonstrate a solid understanding of core concepts and an ability to learn fast and
apply knowledge confidently in Cloud & Virtualization
● Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) – CLI, services, package mgmt.
● KVM / QEMU / Xen hypervisors
● VM lifecycle: provisioning, backup/restore, snapshots, cloud-init Networking
● IP Routing, NAT, DHCP, DNS (including custom zones), VPN (L2TP, IPSec), Load Balancers, Firewalls
● Troubleshooting tools: ping, traceroute, dig, curl, tcpdump Storage & Object Services
● Block and Object Storage basics
● S3-compatible APIs
● Mounting, formatting, and resizing disks Containers & Orchestration
● Docker – images, containers, volumes
● Kubernetes – pod lifecycle, services, ingress
